Transfer opportunities
ISO has long argued for accessible education in which everyone has equal opportunities. The starting point here is: equal opportunities by making a difference. Accessible transfer opportunities play a crucial role in this.
Not every student immediately ends up in the right place and at the right level of education. This makes perfect sense of course; not everyone develops at the same pace and it is also incredibly difficult to be able to assess at a young age what you like and what you are good at. Fortunately, our education system offers the opportunity to switch and move on. Unfortunately, this has been made increasingly difficult for students in recent years. On the one hand due to financial pressure, on the other due to increased additional admission requirements and required transitional programmes. Of course, it is important for students to start an education adequately equipped and with sufficient knowledge, but education should also offer the opportunity to choose another path without too much delay or mounting debt. ISO therefore considers providing good transfer opportunities very important.
