The student mobility grant (Dutch: studentenreisproduct) is an important tool for students. That is why ISO is closely involved in the negotiations taking place on this subject between transport operators and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. In these talks, the ISO continues to argue for the widest possible range of public transport available to students and the right to receive these benefits for travel during rush hour.

As the current agreements on the student mobility grant will soon expire, the ministry is in the process of making new agreements. ISO also plays a role in this. One of these new agreements is positive for students: in the future, DUO will automatically cancel the student travel product when a student is no longer entitled to it. This prevents unnecessary fines that students can still incur now.
