Sorting out health insurance is probably not the reason you came to university. Still, you do want to be properly insured without paying more than necessary every month. That is exactly why Studenten Goed Verzekerd exists: a student health insurance collective created by the ISO, LSVb and JOBmbo, specifically for students. Together with Menzis, they have focused on what students actually need: affordable monthly costs, solid healthcare coverage and extra attention to mental wellbeing.

International students are absolutely welcome too, making this a great option if you are studying in the Netherlands and looking for healthcare that actually fits student life.

What makes it even better is that by joining, you are also supporting other students. Through the Student Wellbeing Fund, projects are financed that help improve the physical and mental health of students across the Netherlands. So while you are taking care of yourself, you are helping strengthen student wellbeing for others too. Switching is possible between 12 November and 1 January and if you have just turned 18, you can sign up right away.
