Legal help
Need help?
From issues with thesis supervision to negative study recommendations and dissatisfaction with exam results: students often feel they are being treated unfairly by their institution. So what should you do about it? Sometimes there is an attitude that ‘the institution will know best’, and students wrongly accept the decision. They often do not know what their rights are, and above all, where to find them. For instance, it is often still unclear what the OER is and what you, as a student, are supposed to do with it. Nor is it always clear when, as a student, you will have to deal with the Examination Board.
For all these questions, ISO founded the National Student Rights Bureau (LSR). This organisation offers free help for your legal rights. The LSR can help with many casus, such as legal advice, objection letters and procedures. Do you feel wronged, or do you have doubts whether your instituion made the right decision? Feel free to contact LSR via lsr.nl or studierechten.com!
